I love all the watches in my collection, but some obviously are more precious to me than the others. If it really came down to it and I had to stick with just two watches from my collection for the rest of my life, I would have to go with the following:

Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 (black dial):

Khalid would stick with the Daytona and the Journe

This watch is very dear to me, I feel my collection would be incomplete without a Rolex Daytona. Though many may disagree, I can wear this watch at all times, whether it’s a formal or casual setting – the Daytona always wins!

Khalid loves the Daytona for its versatility

I’ve found it to be a very elegant and comfortable watch to wear thanks to its smooth and comfortable steel bracelet. I really can’t compare it to any other watch, but I can define it as a watch that can be worn for all occasions.

F.P. Journe Elegante

The Elegante has a unique electro-mechanical movement

My other choice would have to be the F.P. Journe Elegante, a wristwatch that doesn’t require any introduction among watch aficionados. I consider this is a revolutionary watch - I love its elegant looks and unique functions. Again, like the Daytona, this can be worn in different settings.

I love the watch’s in-built memory and the electro-mechanical movement with motion detector that prolongs the battery life, a function that really sets it apart from the rest. When not worn, the watch goes into sleep mode but will still keep track of time. Once it back on the wrist, it automatically displays the current time without the need to readjust the time
